Fortnite’s Summer Escape event is still going on, and one of the quests that you can complete for extra XP and rewards is to use a launchpad at Sunswoon Lagoon. This is a new location that has arrived for the summer, where you can find Purradise Meowscles and his bungalow.

However, finding and using a launchpad at Sunswoon Lagoon is not as easy as it sounds since launchpads are currently vaulted in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. But don’t worry, we have got you covered with this guide on how to use a launchpad at Sunswoon Lagoon in Fortnite.

Launchpad Location In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

To complete this challenge, you need to find a launchpad. Launchpads were normally found in chests, but they're not currently available this season. The only launchpad you can use is at Sunswoon Lagoon. It's already on the ground, so you don’t have to look for it in chests.

Next, you need to go to the launchpad’s location. We've marked the exact location in the above image for your convenience. It’s on dry land, north-west of Sunswoon Lagoon. It’s not in the jungle or by the creek. Look for the waterfall that comes from the autumn biome. The launchpad is on the cliff next to the waterfall.

How To Use A Launchpad At Sunswoon Lagoon In Fortnite

The last step is to use the launchpad. Simply walk over it and press the jump button to activate it. You will be launched into the air and gain height. This will finish the challenge and give you 30k XP. You can also glide to other places or enemies and attack them from above. This is how you'll complete one of the quests for the Summer Escape event, which ends on August 8th.
