Born October 3, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his nationally syndicated talk show, The Michael Medved Show, airs throughout the U.S. on Salem Radio Network, a Christian talk, music and secular news/talk programming network. For ten consecutive years, Medved has been listed by Talkers magazine as one of its "Heavy Hundred" most important American talk show hosts, and he recently tied eighth place in Talkers' ranking of talk hosts by audience size.
