Maryse Ouellet Mizanin (born 21 January 1983), whose professional name is Maryse Ouellet, is a renowned Canadian reality television personality. She also adds as a professional wrestler, manager, actress, and former model. World Wrestling Entertainment is her current employer (WWE).

She is the manager of her husband, Michael Gregory Mizanin, also known as “The Miz,” and she represents the brand “Raw.” Former beauty pageant champion Maryse Ouellet Mizanin was employed by “WWE” as a trainer.

She later stepped into the ring. She is one of the greatest female “WWE” combatants of all time and is frequently recognized as a cunning and determined competitor. She is renowned for her snobby demeanor and powerful “French Kiss DDT” finisher. After winning the “Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada” crown in 2003 and finishing as the first runner-up in the “International Finals of Miss Hawaiian Tropic” in 2004, Maryse Ouellet Mizanin started modeling.

Career

Maryse Ouellet Mizanin entered the “WWE Diva Search” as one of the top eight competitors in the middle of 2006 but was subsequently eliminated. She nevertheless joined “WWE,” but just as an observer at the organization’s developmental organization “Ohio Valley Wrestling” (OVW). On August 24, 2007, she formally committed to a “WWE” developmental deal as an “OVW” trainer. 

Maryse Ouellet Mizanin made her debut in the ring in the ‘OVW’ live event in December 2006. She began competing in shadowy matches in March of the following year. A few months later, Sylvain Grenier, a Canadian professional wrestler, hired her as his manager. She made her TV debut on an episode of “WWE Raw” around the same time, debuting in the music video for Timbaland’s song “Throw It On Me.”

As Ryan O’Reilly‘s valet, she debuted at “Florida Championship Wrestling” in September 2007. She soon began taking part in singles and tag-team tournaments. In December 2007, she was appointed Ted DiBiase Jr.‘s manager. 

After her altercation with Eve Torres in a 2008 episode of “Smack Down,” which made her the first wrestler to be eliminated from the bikini competition, Maryse Ouellet Mizanin‘s haughty and evil reputation became widespread.

In September 2008, Maryse Ouellet Mizanin suffered two defeats at the hands of Michelle McCool, but she also won a non-title match against Michelle McCool. After a brief absence, she returned with the pay-per-view “Survivor Series” event in November. She was her team’s lone survivor in the five-on-five “Divas Championship” elimination tag-team match. But in the end, Beth Phoenix defeated her.

In February 2009, she returned and overcame Maria Kanellis and Eve Torres with her partner Michelle McCool. She made her ‘Raw’ in-ring debut in a ‘champion vs. champion bout,’ which she won, after making her ‘Raw’ commentary debut in March. Maryse Ouellet Mizanin made her debut on April 27, 2009, as a member of the brand “Raw,” however she lost, and as a result, she had surgery on her knee. She made a comeback in November, serving as the special guest timekeeper for a 6-‘Divas’ tag-team bout of “Raw” with a Thanksgiving theme.

After defeating Gail Kim in the finals, she made history in 2010 by becoming the first “Diva” to hold the “WWE Divas Championship” title twice. 

In a “Fatal Four-Way” match on June 20, Maryse Ouellet Mizanin, however, was unable to win back the championship. After that, she and Matt Striker started hosting “NXT.” In August, she underwent surgery for an abdominal hernia. She then stopped watching “WWE.” She was dismissed from the “WWE” contract two months later.
