Christian Cage made his return during the Royal Rumble match after a seven-year-long hiatus from the squared circle. However, he was not seen on WWE television after that. Ultimately, Christian chose to go to AEW, as he came to be known as Christian Cage once again.

Throughout his career in WWE, Christian was always seen as the weaker half of his team with Edge. Edge ultimately became one of the most accomplished WWE Superstars in the history of the company. While Christian was successful, he never reached the heights Edge did.

While speaking on the latest episode of The Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angl shared his honest thoughts on Christian Cage. He called Cage the most underrated wrestler of all time.

“[Christian Cage] is the most underrated wrestler of all time. He never gets the credit that he deserves. He’s a superstar, don’t get me wrong. But he’s always been in the shadow of Edge and he’s actually just as good as Edge, and he’s actually better than all of us at putting matches together.’

Christian Cage is currently out of action and recovering after surgery. We will have to wait nad see when he will return to AEW television.
