Brian Pillman Jrs WWE NXT Arrival Confirmed By The USA Network

May 2024 · 2 minute read

WWE inked Brian Pillman Jr to deal a while ago, but he remained at the Performance Center without making a debut on television. That is time away from television is coming to an end for Brian Pillman Jr.

Brian Pillman Jr’s AEW contract ran out, and he left a couple of months ago. So far, NXT has aired two hype video vignettes to promote the former Varsity Blondes member’s impending debut for the company’s developmental brand.

USA Network put out an article that confirmed Brian Pillman Jr’s impending NXT debut. It appears that those vignettes were for the second generation Superstar, and USA Network was happy to promote that fact.

The rumors are true: Brian Pillman, Jr. is the latest pro wrestling prodigy to make the jump to WWE! Following in the footsteps of megastar-in-the-making Jade Cargill is Pillman, Jr., who eagle-eyed members of the WWE Universe noticed making a blink-and-you-missed-it appearance during NXT No Mercy on September 30.

It’s yet another savvy signing by WWE as they pluck yet another aspiring Superstar away from the competition and welcome another world-class athlete to the WWE locker room. Here’s why the WWE Universe should be excited for the eventual in-ring debut of Brian Pillman, Jr.!

The initial vignette featuring Pillman Jr. was broadcasted during the NXT episode on September 26th. These vignettes showed a man watching Cincinnati Bengals football. Brian Pillman Jr’s father, Brian Pillman, played for the Bengals. WCW was also featured in those vignettes, a company Pillman’s father also worked for.

The exact date of Brian Pillman Jr.’s official television debut remains undisclosed. He left AEW in July, and it didn’t take him very long to wind up in the WWE Performance Center.
