How time flies! Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Tuesday, and in honour of their special day, Beyoncé's mum Tina Knowles shared a gorgeous throwback photo. Taking to Instagram, the fashion designer wrote: "9 years already??? Congratulations to the Carters on their Anniversary (that's my arm fixing the dress lol)."

The beautiful snap showed Beyoncé and Jay Z walking down the aisle, taking their first steps as newlyweds. The singer looked overjoyed, throwing her arms up in the air and smiling broadly. Tina, meanwhile, could be seen rearranging her daughter's train from the side. The stylist has previously revealed that she picked her daughter's wedding dress – a strapless ivory gown that featured ruffles.

However Tina, who was behind some of Beyoncé's most iconic outfits from her Destiny's Child days, also admitted that her daughter wasn't too keen on the gown. "She was so sweet to let me do that," Tina, 63, said on the show, explaining that Beyoncé had let her pick her dress. "She came back later one day and she said, 'You know, when my daughter gets married, I'm going to let her pick out her own dress.' Maybe she wasn't so excited about it at the time, but she's a sweetheart."

Beyoncé, 35, and Jay Z, 47, are the proud parents to daughter Blue Ivy. The little girl, five, is set to become a big sister soon as her famous parents are expecting twins this summer. Beyoncé made the surprise announcement by sharing an iconic photo of herself, proudly posing side-on and revealing her baby bump. "We would like to share our love and happiness," she wrote on Instagram. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."

Her dad Matthew Knowles has hinted that Beyoncé is expecting a boy and a girl. He recently told : "I'm extremely proud and happy, both with Jay and her. And Blue Ivy is going to have some brothers and sisters. She is already excited."
