Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards will be watching the rest of the NBA Playoffs from their couch, but Beal hasn't lost any confidence in his squad.
In fact, he went as far as to say the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers "didn't want to see" the Wizards in the playoffs.
Speaking with CSN's Chris Miller on Thursday, Beal said,
"Cleveland didn't want to see us," said Beal.
"I felt like that's the reason they didn't play us in the second round. They didn't want to see us in the second round. If they were going to go down, they were going to go down in the conference finals. They didn't want to go down in the second round."
For what it's worth, the Cavs went 2-1 against Washington in the regular season... and have yet to lose a game in the post-season. I'll go out on a limb and say they didn't give a damn who they matched up with in the Eastern Conference.
The Cavs will look to keep their unblemished record going tonight in Boston at 8:30pm.
